Day 156 - A bird without a name

Yet another camp capture. I caught this little fellow as we were up at the lookout point. He was difficult to 'catch' as he kept moving from branch to branch, further up into the tree. I managed to get a couple of shots in before he disappeared into the shelter of the branches. I've asked around and done some searching on the internet but I can't seem to find out this handsome birds name. Any ideas?

First, it's a wonderful shot! I never see such interesting birds and I certainly don't have the lens to capture them. *Sigh*

Second, could it be a Canada Warbler?

Thanks for the link Julie. I did some more research and I think it's actually a Northern Parula. I've never heard of it before. If you google it you'll get some pics. Let me know what you think.

I saw that one too but thought that yours looked more gray on the back and the images I saw looked blueish. But, it may just be the light or yours is a juvenile maybe? Anyway, it sure is a great shot. I like that you captured him looking upward like that.

Looks like your camp was a success despite some bad weather....
