Day 38 - Budding Beauty

One of the teachers at school keeps his amaryllis plants at school. They bloom profusely every year. We're not sure if it's his green thumb or secret plant food. We have two at home with beautiful leaves but we can't seem to get them to bloom. Maybe we should bring them to school. This amaryllis was displayed in the staffroom. I chose it because of the stripes on the petals.

I'm a sucker for a macro shot! This one is no exception! :)

That is a really special macro. Beautiful color and lines. I'd think about framing it....
