Being from Saskatchewan, grasshoppers are childhood friends. They are not usually as predominant in Quebec City but this year with the dry weather, they have come out in abundance. I captured this fella while walking the dogs at the farm using my zoom lens. I love the detail of his markings and the way his colours blend into the surroundings.

Day 192 - Grass-y Hopper
Being from Saskatchewan, grasshoppers are childhood friends. They are not usually as predominant in Quebec City but this year with the dry weather, they have come out in abundance.
