Day 87 - Monochrome Polar Bear

Today's assignment was to make a black and white photograph and go monochrome. I was 'bearly' able to complete this assignment today. After searching around the house for possibilities I spied this fellow on the shelf in the office. I like the speckles in the stone and the smoothness of the surface.

You did a great job of finding a naturally monochromatic object, instead of creating one. Very nice!

Nice contrast between the white of the bear and the black background. Great job!

The monotones play up this bear "beary" nicely...it really makes for an elegant image!

I'd like to touch this smooth stone and feel its coolness.
