Since the camera was still setup on the tripod from last night's session, I decided to continue playing with exposure. I left the lights on this time and chose Sadie's kibble as the subject. I set the exposure to 2 seconds, picked up a handful of kibble. After pushing the button I threw the kibble into the measuring cup. I thought it gave it an interesting effect. Kind of looks like the bottom of the cup is transparent and the kibble's underneath.

Another neat effect with the long exposure. Very colourful too!
Now, that is very imaginative, Shelley. Before I read your description I paused for a long time trying to figure out what it was and convinced myself it was a transparent measuring cup. Very cool.
I, too, was thinking about your shot like Julie until I read more closely. Great experimenting!
That's a wild effect! I thought maybe it was kibble that was frozen in some water at the bottom.
And what does Sadie think of all this? (Tell her I think this is really neat!)
