We've been working on surface area and volume in math. Using manipulatives like these unifix cubes helps but it's still slow-going for the kids to get their heads around these concepts. Volume seems to be somewhat easier for them. I haven't finished marking their quizzes so time will tell as to their comprehension at this point in time.

Day 14 - Surface Area and Volume
We've been working on surface area and volume in math. Using manipulatives like these unifix cubes helps but it's still slow-going for the kids to get their heads around these concepts. Volume seems to be somewhat easier for them. I haven't finished marking their quizzes so time will tell as to their comprehension at this point in time.
