Update 14 - Sarah's Lilies

While visiting with our friend Sarah I couldn't resist snapping a few shots of her lilies. I'm not sure what her secret is but her lilies always seem to look so beautiful. I chose these two shots because of the softness and the colours.
I realize that I only posted a portion of the pictures that I would have had I blogged every day over the last few months. However, the task of posting these seemed daunting enough to keep me procrastinating for awhile. Now that I'm somewhat caught up I will attempt to return to blogging regularly. I also plan on visiting my fellow bloggers to see what they've been up to. Thanks to all of you who have continued visiting despite my lack of posts. I have missed blogging and missed visiting my fellow bloggers even more.

Day 223 - Last Lily

Well, I finally chose the last lily for our goddaughter's frames. We had 4 pictures printed and framed. I have to admit it's a rush to give my photos away and have them appreciated. I've had lots of positive feedback from friends and followers so I'll take a moment now to say, "Thanks."

So, we're off to Mississauga tomorrow to visit family and attend our goddaughter's christening on Sunday. I will definitely be taking pictures every day and will do my best to post them. However, due to possible technical difficulties I may need to post them when we get back home on Tuesday. Any positive technology vibes would be appreciated.

Day 180 - A 'Lily' bit of home

Being from Saskatchewan, I have a particular affinity for the Tiger Lily, our provincial flower. Our lilies have been getting ready to bloom and the recent rain and intermittent sun gave them the little extra push they needed. Our lilies are nestled safely amongst a patch of Baby's Breath. By the way Baby's Breath does NOT smell like a baby's breath at all. In fact we find it smells like stinky belly button, YUCK! I'll try and get some shots of the stinky stuff in a day or two as it's just starting to open up.
