Our soccer field took on a desert like appearance with the winds and lack of rain. Believe it or not, there used to be grass growing where the young man is standing. Lots of enthusiastic feet have worn away the greenery. Thankfully, we had some rain this evening so we shouldn't have to worry about sand storms tomorrow.

Day 145 - Thirsty field
Our soccer field took on a desert like appearance with the winds and lack of rain. Believe it or not, there used to be grass growing where the young man is standing. Very atmospheric! I like the boy's sideways glance - makes it seem as if he's thinking about the game to come or the game that was. Hard to believe the weather we've had this spring....

I concur with playingwithpixels - great atmosphere. And let's home we get some good rain - forest fires, gardens, water levels - we need water.
